Description & Design

• Lama L M106B is part of the Lama series by Gio Ponti, exploring a dual design vision: one organic/form‑hugging (lever shaped to the hand), the other geometrically clear (hand adapts to a sharper, slender blade‑like form).

• The lever is very thin in profile — the Italian lama means “blade” — with edges softened by carefully computed radii so that, although visually slim, it’s comfortable to grip without harsh edges.

• The design is suitable for both door and window use: available in door handle sets, and matching versions / hardware for windows (DK version) so that hardware style is coherent throughout.

• Mounting/fixing options include low / slim roses/escutcheons. In particular a “Low” 51 × 5 mm rose/escutcheon is available, fixed either by woodscrews or bolts, giving a clean, flush appearance.
