FSB 1102 At the Door Handles Workshop in Brakel in 1986, Alessandro Mendini asserted that good design does not always have to be invented from
scratch. He took the Gropius handle and used a change of material and a characteristic groove to give it a new dimension. The FSB 1102 marked
the beginning of the Bauhaus redesign at FSB and was a true “door opener.”
