Time for Color: FSB 1267 Les Couleurs Le Corbusier

Colour tells a story and shapes how we experience space. With the introduction of the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® palette, FSB – Franz Schneider Brakel GmbH + Co KG expands its design philosophy of material, form and colour, opening up new creative possibilities for architects and designers.

The iconic FSB 1267 lever handle, inspired by the work of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, is now available in 63 carefully curated architectural colours from the Polychromie Architecturale. These nuanced hues allow for seamless transitions, bold contrasts, or expressive accents within a space.

Designed by Hartmut Weise, the FSB 1267 translates modernist design principles into a contemporary architectural element. Its fluid transition from round neck to flat grip, combined with the subtle index-finger groove, gives the handle its distinctive and ergonomic character.

Versatile Applications

The timeless aesthetic of the FSB 1267 family makes it suitable for a wide range of environments. When finished in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colours, the handle can serve as either a striking feature or a subtle tone-on-tone element in spaces such as:

Now Available for FSB AFL® flush-fitting rose system Flush-fitting innovation continues to set standards in minimalist door hardware. With a rose height of just 3.5 mm or flush height option, it delivers a precise, pared-down appearance and is now also available in the Le Corbusier colour palette, including an optional lockable version.

Through FSB’s collaboration with JUNG, these colours can extend seamlessly into lighting and switch systems, allowing door handles, hardware, and controls to align chromatically for a cohesive tone-on-tone design or a striking contrast.

Thanks to FSB’s modular system, the same design language can be maintained across door handles, window hardware, security fittings and switches, ensuring maximum design freedom with minimal complexity.
