Amalfine™

First developed in 1992, Amalfine™ is a trademarked material unique to Turnstyle Designs, that has been fine-tuned and perfected over the years by their skilled craftsmen.

Amalfine finishes

Each of the Amalfine stock finishes are made up from a different recipe of materials, including marble, bronze, aluminium and a selection of dyes, making each of them a solid composite rather than a ‘finish’.

Each handle design is hand-poured in liquid form into silicon moulds which pick up fingerprint detail; then steel or brass cores are cast in for additional strength and function. The overall process is labour intensive and takes many hours to perfect, and the outcome is durable, beautiful and extremely tactile.
