The FSB 1005, dubbed “The Wedge”, is Johannes Potente’s modernized reinterpretation of Max Burchartz’s original 1931 universal handle design. First envisioned in the 1960s, this sleek, wedge-shaped handle was favored by architects such as Egon Eiermann and has been featured in notable modernist buildings, including the “Langer Eugen” tower and the former Chancellor’s Bungalow in Bonn
