Introducing Olivari’s 2025 Lever Handles: Brera, Dolmen, Aqua & Mare
We are delighted to present four new additions to Olivari Italy’s 2025 door lever portfolio — the Brera (M279B), Dolmen (M276B), Aqua (M277B) and Mare (M278B). Launched at Salone del Mobile 2025, these designs reflect a refined collaboration between Olivari and four world‑class designers and architects.
Brera – M279B (Antonio Citterio)
- Designer: Antonio Citterio
- Concept & Form: Brera is drawn from the lineage of Milanese traditional handles, reinterpreting how their proportions have elongated over time. Citterio balances historical memory with a contemporary sensibility: the profiles are softly rounded without being overly organic, projecting solidity and precision.
Dolmen – M276B (Naoto Fukasawa)
- Designer: Naoto Fukasawa
- Concept & Form: Dolmen evokes tectonic mass and primal geometry. Its form appears to melt into the hand, softening geometric rigidity into a comfortable, organic profile. The name alludes to megalithic stone structures—evoking elemental strength and timeless presence.
Aqua – M277B (Matteo & Renzo Piano)
- Designer: Matteo & Renzo Piano
- Concept & Form: Aqua is a design in which glass takes centre stage. The metal works as a supporting structure, while the transparent or tinted glass lever becomes the focal element. The resultant aesthetic is clean, light, and architectural.
Mare – M278B (Matteo & Renzo Piano)
- Designer: Matteo & Renzo Piano
- Concept & Form: Mare is a study in essential form and material purity. It emphasises transparency and reflection, allowing glass to dominate the visual presence while brass is reduced to structural support
