FSB finishes

Often, they were the sole architectural design element in the grey concrete landscape, but today coloured finishes have a firmly established place in the architectural ironmongery industry’s product range.
Choosing your FSB finishes
The team at FSB considers their architectural hardware fittings for doors and windows to be useful tools, acting as extensions of the human hand. They feel that using them is a tactile experience shaped by form and materiality. But as touch begins in the mind, they are also a treat for the eye.
An exclusive partnership between FSB and Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier means that FSB offers a variety of shades for selected products, ensuring that designers can achieve the perfect colour match or colour contrast to those chosen for walls, doors and windows.
As its basic material for painted fittings, FSB uses the cast and ground aluminium models from its standard range. Before painting, the parts are subject to a special, anodic oxidation. FSB then uses electrostatic powder coating. This is a solvent-free painting process.
If properly fitted and used properly, the paint on FSB fittings will withstand daily use. Vigorous contact with hard and sharp-edged objects (e.g. rings, keys, boxes etc.) can scratch the surface. Scratches will not impair function.
